What’s included in our stay?

You’ll find it all clearly outlined on our Airbnb listing, but to give you a quick recap: All linens and towels are provided. You’ll find olive oil, salt, pepper, specialty tea, freshly ground coffee, milk and butter in the kitchen, along with Aesop products waiting for you in the bathroom (including hand soap, body wash, body balm, shampoo and conditioner). Firewood, kindling and matches are on hand for your fireplace and outdoor hot tub needs. Should you wish to connect, we have a Sonos speaker and reliable Wi-Fi to stream music or Netflix from your personal device. We don’t have a TV at Aframe. Guests are gifted Native Australian Bath Soak by Addition Studios which you’ll find in the bathroom.

Can we explore the property?

Aframe Kangaroo Valley is set on 16 acres of beautiful Australian bushland. Guests are free to roam the property, but at their own risk. Appropriate footwear and clothing should be worn, just as you would if you were exploring the nearby Morton National Park (hiking boots or non-slip gumboots are recommended). The property features an array of native Australian plant life and wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, wombats, echidnas, as well as a trio of wedge-tailed eagles that occasionally soar above.

Can we swim in your creek?

Guests may swim in the creek, but at their own risk. We have approx. 500m of private freshwater creek on the property, so please feel free to pack your bathers and some appropriate footwear to reach the water’s edge (hiking boots or non-slip gumboots recommended). Once you reach the creek, we recommend wearing your own reef shoes or old sneakers if swimming. We provide outdoor towels for hot tub and creek use. Whilst it flows year-round, the depth of the creek depends entirely on recent rainfall and the particular time of year you plan on going for a dip. In some areas, you can expect the water to reach your waist or chest! You’ll find information on the best swimming spots in our guest Cabin Guide when you check in.

Do you have reliable Wi-Fi?

Aframe Kangaroo Valley is all about disconnecting from the distractions and pace of modern life and, instead, taking time to enjoy the simple things. But should you need to touch base with loved ones back home, install and use apps for your safety, or choose to stream music or Netflix etc, we do provide reliable Wi-Fi for your personal devices. Details available in our guest Cabin Guide when you check in.

Do you hire the Aframe for editorial/commercial use?

Set on 16 acres of stunning Australian bushland, Aframe Kangaroo Valley offers a diverse mix of interior and exterior locations for your next photoshoot, campaign and/or film. It’s $1500 per (8-10 hour) day and we welcome crews from all over. This requires written permission from management and is viewed as a separate booking to an accommodation booking. If you’d like to chat more, please use the contact form found here to drop us a line.

Can I get married/get ready with my wedding party at the Aframe?

We love weddings, however, out of respect for our neighbours, and also due to the petite size of our cabin, we’ve elected not to host weddings or any other private functions or gatherings at Aframe Kangaroo Valley - this includes bride/groom getting ready parties and small weddings. For safety reasons, we do have a security camera (that films the external driveway entry) on-site. We kindly ask that only our booked guests are on-site.

Can I elope at the Aframe?

Although Aframe Kangaroo Valley would be a beautiful location for elopements, for now, we have decided to focus on providing quality stays for guests. In time, we hope to expand our offerings to include elopements.
